Privacy Policy
This page explains what CitizenSheba (https://www.citizensheba.com) collects when you browse the site. We run an independent Directory of Bangladesh Official Services. We do not host or proxy government transactions, and we do not require an account to use the site.

What we do not collect
- We do not ask you to create an account or log in
- We do not process payments, NID details, or other government-form data on this site
- We do not sell personal information
Browser storage on your device
The theme toggle (light / dark) stores your preference in localStorage underdata-theme. That value stays on your device and is not sent to our servers as a profile. Clearing site data removes it.
Analytics
To understand traffic and improve the Directory, we use privacy-oriented and product analytics:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — lightweight measurement for sites proxied through Cloudflare (automatic and/or a small beacon). Cloudflare processes request/performance signals under its own policies.
- Google Analytics 4 — gtag.js loads only after the page has finished loading and an additional short delay, so it does not run on the critical first paint. Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers according to Google’s policies.
Analytics tools may receive technical data such as page URL, approximate location derived from IP, device/browser type, and referrer. We use this for aggregate site metrics, not to sell ads against your identity.
You can limit analytics with browser settings, extensions, or Google’s own controls (for example opt-out tools where available). Early exits before the deferred GA script loads may not be recorded in Google Analytics.
Outbound official sites
When you open an official Service link, you leave CitizenSheba and visit a third-party government or utility website. Those sites have their own privacy policies and practices. We do not control them.
Hosting and logs
The site is served as static pages on Cloudflare. Cloudflare and related infrastructure may retain standard edge/access logs (for example IP address, user agent, and request path) for security, reliability, and operations.
Children
The Directory is a general public information site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or tools change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
